There are a number of hotels in the area, and Mexico City offers many accessible options via Tram, Bus, or Uber. Remember that if you are staying in another area of the city (city center, roma, condesa), the time at rush hour to arrive at the venue could be at least an hour.

Public Transportation
Uber (recommended): From any hotel, you can take an Uber directly to the venue, just keep in mind at least 30 minutes of travel (plus 5 to 10 minutes waiting for the Uber). If you choose this one, write in the Uber app “Tecnológico de Monterrey” and select the option with the address “Puente 222 esq. Periférico Sur, Col. Ejidos de Huipulco. CP 14380, Tlalpan, Ciudad de México”; this will take you to the entrance. Please do not select the option of “Santa Fe”, as this is another Campus.
Tram: The closest station to the venue is the Tram Xomalli (pronounced shomali). This option is suitable for those who are not staying in the suggested hotels. If you opt for this option, you should buy a card at any metro station (check Basics to Mexico travel).

Rideshare and Taxi
Uber, Didi, Cabify, Beat, etc., are widely available, and Mexico city is extensively covered by Taxi services. Do not accept unsolicited rides to and from the airport as they may overcharge or lack proper insurance (check Basics to Mexico travel).
Airports
Mexico city is served by two major international airports:
-
Benito Juarez International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez de la Ciudad de México - AICM, MEX): Often the point of entry for international flights. Website
-
Felipe Ángeles International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles - AIFA, NLU): Mainly used for domestic flights, but there are also international flights available. Website
